Boundary Park Lighting

A scheme for lighting Boundary Park has been submitted to the Government's Community Cashback scheme for possible funding. To succeed, it needs as many votes on line as possible.

Boundary Park lighting project
Project type:
Crime reduction / Community safety

Description:
The issue of the MUGA and the lighting has been on the PACT priorities in Eastcliff for sometime. The MUGA went in as part of a community project but the lighting was not done. The MUGA is a good community project aimed to divert kids into positive activities but the lack of lighting has resulted in an increase of anti social behaviour, and the facility being viewed locally as a negative project.

Lighting will encourage the right use of the facility, reduce the opportunity of being anti-social as well as assist in the detection of such behaviour. This has been a PACT Priority for some time and would be a very positive action for the Eastcliff ward. This will also be a large, visible, one off project as this is a very large and popular park.

Location:
Boundary Park, Ramsgate, Kent.

It was rather interesting for me to read the article. Thanks for it. I like such topics and anything that is connected to them. I would like to read more on that blog soon.
